Bronze Age Ancient Armenian Artifacts
These artifacts were discovered in turn-of-the-century excavations near Razdan, Armenia. They have been determined by specialists to date from circa 1,000 BC, andbelonged to the tribes that eventually formed the Armenian nation.

Early Armenia, c. 1000 BC. Ceramic single-handled pot or large cup. Great design of 6 incised ridges around upper body. Burned in antiquity, now has nice black coloration. Intact minus some small rim chips common for pieces of this age. 132 mm across x 68 mm tall. #1000: $375 SOLD
Early Armenia, c. 1000 BC. Ceramic large pot. Amazingly well preserved. Orange coloration with dark areas and tree root marks/lines overall. Stunning! 112 mm diameter x 106 mm tall. #1001: $375 SOLD

Early Armenia, c. 1000 BC. Ceramic small jar or pot. Deep black coloration from being burned in antiquity. Only a small rim chip, otherwise in great shape! Stout and sturdy. 72 x 72 mm. #1003: $199 SOLD

Early Armenia, c. 1000 BC. Large ceramic dish. Two small holes at top originally made for hanging on string, or for draining oils, etc. Outstanding piece with even black patina. 155 mm diameter x 40 mm tall. #1002: $295 SOLD

Pre-Urartu Armenia, 1800-900 BC. Bronze finger-ring, actually made up of two rings, fused together in antiquity, likely part of a burial. From a private Amersfoort collection, Netherlands. #802: $185
